Well now, it appears that carriers just simply can’t keep their future smartphone plans from being leaked to the net these days, and the latest to have their future device outed is Sprint, firstly with Sprint’s variant of the Samsung Galaxy S II, formerly known as the Samsung Within getting a new moniker.

According to the guys over at Engadget, an unnamed tipster has enlightened them to several handsets coming to Sprint, with the Samsung Within now to surface as the Samsung Epic 4G Touch, which would suggest that the Epic device loses the QWERTY in favour of touch.

However for those that simply must have a physical QWERTY for their texting requirements then perhaps the Samsung Epic 2 will suit your needs.

The next Sprint handset mentioned is the HTC Kingdom, which apparent when it hits the Sprint network will be known as the HTC EVO Design 4G with dual core processor and 3D display.

Thus far all these smartphones have the 4G tag, however when it comes to a new Motorola device it appears that it wont be 4G enabled, and will be known as the Motorola Admiral so will probably be a mid-range device.

Not much known on the Motorola Admiral, although there appears to be a Facebook page created for the device, which goes by the handle “Motorola, admiral, zenith, Ironworker,” and is the only thing I have managed to find to do with the Motorola Admiral albeit the page not being live just yet.

As for the HTC Kingdom, now Sprint HTC EVO Design 4G one can only presume the handset will retain the same specifications as the HTC Kingdom as the tipster didn’t mention anything on these devices other than the new names.

Motorola Tablet 2012 with Android Honeybomb new project

Motorola Tablet with Android Honeybomb 2012

Now, Motorola is soluble in its new project, developing a new Android tablet. The plan, this tablet will be launched with the 7″ screen. In addition, this new tablet will be fitted with 1 GHz processor Dual-Core, 1 GB Memory RAM, and internal memory 8 GB. Motorola’s new tablet is still relying on an 8 mega pixels rear-facing camera and a front-facing 1.3 mega pixels. Moreover, other features are also provided to pamper the consumer, such as HDMI outputs, and USB ports.

Motorola’s new tablet can survive in extreme temperatures, as well as resilient, even from a height of 4 feet. Earlier, Motorola has released tablet with similar hardware with this new tablet. However, we have not been able to extract more information about software that will be used in this new tablet. Motorola said that the new tablet is a tablet which specifically reflects Android itself. Some specific features including security and scanning utilities can be found in this tablet.
Motorola schedule this tablet will be in beta-testing in October this year. While the tablet estimated to be carried out in 2012. Although Motorola’s new tablet will be using Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). However, with the length of time before the tablet was launched, it is possible for Motorola to replace the Android OS with Honeycomb version or just the most recent version.

Android Market Set To Top App Store 2012

2012 Android Market Set To Top App Store

Right now, the Apple App Store is the most popular and successful of all app selling online stores around. That may not always be the case though. Just as Android is starting to take the lead from the iPhone in many markets, Android apps are catching up with the sales of iPhone apps too according to a new report. The report comes from Strategy Analytics.

The smartphone app battle between Apple’s App Store and Google’s Android Market is still raging on, but who will be on top by the end of the year?

Apple are leading the app market at the moment, but all of the studies and research are pointing at Android to be top dog in the coming years. Even Apple’s strong hold on the tablet market with their iPad will be weakened by Android’s rise. T3 has reported that the Android Market has now overtaken the App Store in the “free apps” category with 134,342 opposed to 121,845. We all love things that are free, so Android wins the battle there.

According to Phones Review, the Android Market grew by 16% in March compared to just the App Store’s 6%. Analysts have stated that if the stores continue to grow at the current pace they are, the Android Market would be the largest store in 5 months time. The App Store would be second best, with Windows Phone 7′s Marketplace following on. The next closest rivals are the Blackberry App World and the Nokia Ovi Store.

Many believe that the App Store will stay on top for the next few years, but Apple cannot ignore the fact that Android are proving a very competitive rival. Google’s OS is the top smartphone software in the US, as well as being the favourite in the UK. Studies show that by 2015, Android will account for 50% of the mobile phone market. Will they rise up above Apple in the app market? Leave us your thoughts in the comments on who you think has the better app offering.

According to the report, the Android Market is set to overtake the App Store in quarterly volume by the end of 2012. The overall app economy is looking to be worth $2 billion per quarter by the end of 2012. The report does suspect the App Store to maintain the lead through 2012. The prediction is that Android will get help from other Android app markets to beat Apple.
The help for Android apps will come from the other markets like the Amazon App Store, GetJar, Nook, and other sources. Overall the app market is selling billions of paid apps monthly and downloads are expected to add up to about $2 billion by the end of 2012.

Google Chairman Will Visit Taiwan in 2nd Half of 2012

2nd Half of 2012 Google Chairman Will Visit Taiwan

Taipei, May 26, 2011 (CENS)–Eric Schmidt, chairman of Google, will embark on an Asian tour, including Taiwan, in the second half this year, when he will visit Taiwanese clients and partners to push Android system in person.

Schmidt revealed the travel plan during a teleconference with Taiwanese press yesterday (May 25). During the trip, Schmidt will meet with representatives of Taiwanese firms adopting Android system, including brand vendors, such as HTC and ASUS, contract makers, such as Hon Hai and Wistron, and component suppliers, such as Mediatek and AU Optronics. The trip will inevitably spark a discussion on the competition between Android devices and Apple`s tablet PCs and smart phones.

As the world`s largest search engine firm, Google has extended its reach to the realms of mobile phones and PCs with the rollout of Android and Chrome systems. Schmidt pointed out that Android has achieved stunning success on the global markets. Its global partners have launched 310 models of Android-based products, selling 400,000 such products a day. In addition, there are 200,000 Android-based software products being sold in 131 countries.
Android-based mobiles phones boast largest global market share and its tablet PCs rank second place, trailing Apple iPad. Google`s next step is making inroads into the PC market with its Chrome system.

Samsung Galaxy S3 release date in 2012

Samsung Galaxy S3 2012 Full Specification

A Galaxy far far away?
We can take a pretty good guess at when the Samsung Galaxy S 3 will turn up. For one thing, Samsung Mobile chief JK Shin recently told the Wall Street Journal that the next Galaxy S device would be launched in the first half of 2012.

Admittedly, this isn’t much of a surprise when you consider that the last two Galaxy S handsets have been launched within this time frame for the past two years. But could the Galaxy S 3 turn up even earlier than its predecessors?

The first Galaxy S only just scraped into the first half of 2010, launching in June of that year. The Galaxy S 2 brought things forward a bit, launching in May of this year. Might the Galaxy S 3 follow a fledgling pattern and launch in April 2012?

Samsung has confirmed that it will be releasing a follow up to this year’s critically acclaimed Galaxy S2 handset. The device will be called the Samsung Galaxy S3 and should get a release date in 2012

Samsung has confirmed that it will be releasing a follow-up to this year’s Samsung Galaxy S2 in 2012. The device will be known as the Samsung Galaxy S3 and will no doubt feature Google’s Android Ice Cream Sandwich at its core.
The news comes via Dow Jones Newswires who reports that J.K. Shin, president of Samsung’s mobile communications division, has said that ‘Samsung may launch a third version of its Galaxy S smartphone in the first half of next year after launching a second-generation version called Galaxy S II last month.’

Of course, Samsung will be keen to build on the success created by its massively successful Galaxy S2 handset, which launched in the UK a few weeks ago.

We tested the Galaxy S2 about a month ago now, giving it 4.5 out of 5, and thoroughly enjoyed using the device. In fact, we’d go as far as saying that it is by far and away the best Android handset currently on the market.

But that’s not all Samsung is working on. According to Shin: ‘The race for 4G (fourth-generation) has already started.’

Power of four
We have absolutely no information on what the Galaxy S 3 will look and perform like, but we can take a good stab at it. If 2011 will prove to be the year of the dual-core processor, then expect any top-end smartphone worth its salt in 2012 to go quad-core.

The company at the forefront of the dual-core revolution this year has been Nvidia with its Tegra 2 CPU. The company laid out its plans to double up by 2012 at the beginning of the year (as reported by BSN), and it has already unveiled its stunningly powerful quad-core Kal-El chip for the next generation of Android device. Qualcomm also recently confirmed that its quad-core chip is “coming soon”.

Of course, Samsung tends to go with its own custom chips for its Samsung Galaxy S range, but both have been competitive with the very best its rivals had to offer. Indeed, when production of the Galaxy S 2′s Exynos chip fell a little short, Samsung partnered with Nvidia to swap the chip out for the Tegra 2 in some regions.

He added: ‘4G transition is inevitable particularly for tablets because it requires faster download speeds than smartphones to handle bigger volume content.’

So, looks like we can expect to see some 4G-enabled Galaxy Tab devices as well.

So far, Samsung has sold about 1.3 million units of its Samsung Galaxy S2 device and despite some reports about some tinting issues with the handset’s display, these sales figures show no signs of slowing down.
With the Samsung Galaxy S2 making it’s way to the U.S. for release this month, the Samsung Galaxy S3 has been confirmed for early 2012.

Samsung has confirmed that it will be releasing a successor to this year’s critically acclaimed Galaxy S2 smartphone. The device will be called the Samsung Galaxy S3 and should get a release date in early 2012.

Samsung has confirmed that it will be releasing a follow-up to this year’s Samsung Galaxy S2 in 2012. The device will be known as the Samsung Galaxy S3 and will very likely feature Google’s Android Ice Cream Sandwich, its new OS.

This was announced by J.K. Shin, president of Samsung’s mobile communications division, has said that “Samsung may launch a third version of its Galaxy S smartphone in the first half of next year after launching a second-generation version called Galaxy S II last month.”

Indeed, many publications gave the handset five out of five – something that doesn’t happen very often. But what can we expect from the Galaxy S3? At present, no one really knows – although a quad-core processor and Android Ice Cream Sandwich are extremely likely.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 currently with its high ratings and success will only carry over to the Galaxy S3. It will be even better and perhaps more successful when it comes time for release.

Shin also stated: “4G transition is inevitable particularly for tablets because it requires faster download speeds than smartphones to handle bigger volume content.”

So that’s another big thing Samsung is working on pushing out to its products.

With the Samsung Galaxy S2 selling over 1.5 million, we don’t see it slowing down and will continue to soar with success once it is officially released in the U.S.
More news as we get it.
Screening process
The other main attraction of the Galaxy range is Samsung’s stunning AMOLED screen technology. The Galaxy S 2 upped the ante on the first device by increasing the size from 4-inch to 4.3-inch and by boosting the sub-pixel count by 50 percent, making it considerably sharper.

We wouldn’t expect (or wish for) the Galaxy S 3 to get any bigger, but we would expect it to get even sharper. One area Samsung’s rivals Apple, HTC and Motorola can claim an advantage in the screen stakes is sharpness. Apple has its Retina display while the others have started using qHD displays – all of which boost pixel density considerably, making even small text a joy to read.

The next test for the tricky-to-manufacture AMOLED tech is to boost the sharpness to match these rival technologies. If the Galaxy S 3 can sport a Super AMOLED Plus screen with a 960 x 640 resolution (or thereabouts), its rivals should probably start waving those white flags.

Motorola Bullet, Jet Quad-Core Androids Coming Q1 2012 Full Specification

2012 Motorola Bullet,Jet Quad-Core Androids Q1 Release

The Motorola Bullet was first announced in April 2011, it is a rumoured quad-core Android phone to be manufactured by Motorola and released in early 2012.

We’re just now seeing the first dual-core smartphones really penetrate the market, with the G2x bringing Tegra 2-based hardware to the US. After hearing about NVIDIA’s future plans at the MWC, it became clear that this dual-core phenomenon was really only a starting-off point, with NVIDIA’s sights already on the Tegra 3 and the quad-core power it will bring. Rumor has it that first Tegra 3 smartphones will be coming our way courtesy of Motorola early next year, as the Bullet and the Jet.

Supposedly the Bullet will be a straight-up slate, while the Jet will be a QWERTY slider. There’s not much in the way of confirmation to back up any of this information, so treat these hardware specs with a healthy dose of skepticism.

The Motorola Bullet is rumored to rock a 4.3-inch qHD display, and have somewhere between 1 and 2GB of RAM (possibly 1.5GB). The slightly-smaller Motorola Jet could end up with a 4-inch display (also qHD), and RAM in that same range as the Bullet. Both phones are said to have NFC capabilities, 12-megapixel main cameras (no word on front-facers), and 16GB of on-board flash memory.

There’s a good chance that both the Bullet and Jet could be LTE models, but by the time they’re anticipated to arrive, Verizon won’t be the only LTE game in town, so it’s too early to call which provider may score these powerhouses. Keep checking back with us for updates on these two Androids as more information hopefully arrives throughout the rest of the year.
 Motorola Bullet
The Bullet is a candy bar style 4.3″ qHD (960×540) phone, packing a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, and most likely 1.5GB of DDR2 RAM. It will also have 16GB of on-board storage, an NFC chip, and a redesigned image sensor to capture amazing photos and HD video on its 12MP camera. It’s also alleged to be launching before its keyboard brethren, the Motorola Jet.

T-Mobile HTC Flyer Phone 2012

T-Mobile HTC Flyer 2012 Full Specification

A leaked promotion from T-Mobile suggests the HTC Flyer is coming to the network.

That’s interesting, especially since Best Buy issued a press release last week saying they had exclusive rights to sell HTC’s wi-fi-only tablet this spring. A rebranded version of the tablet will be on Sprint’s WiMax 4G network this summer under the name the HTC EVO View.

Tech site pocketnow.com, backs up its surprising claim with pictures showing the seven-inch tablet in marketing mock-ups for T-Mobile’s network, which the tablet already supports.

Now, of course, marketing promotions can be put together for anything, so this doesn’t mean the tablet’s definitely going to be on T-Mobile or that it’s coming any time soon. But the company appears to have mocked up a couple of print ads, a possible travel promotion and YouTube videos. It’s not clear whether the promotions are for T-Mobile’s U.S. or United Kingdom network, but, as pocketnow.com noted in its original post, the U.S. network is the only one with a YouTube channel.

On a related note, a report from (on-again, off-again) Taiwanese tech site Digitimes said that the tablet will be delayed until May.
